ALEC to Establish Center in Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City
The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “MiSK” has granted ALEC Engineering& Contracting a contract to build a scientific center for science and technology as part of Mohammed bin Salma Nonprofit City in the capital Riyadh.
The center, which will be constructed on an area of 27,000 square meters, has a total value of approximately 1.8 billion Riyals, reported Saudi Future.

Location, Design of non-profit city
The non-profit city is situated on a special tract of land in Arqa, west of Riyadh. The city spans approximately 3.4 square kilometers.
Furthermore, it aligns with the vision of the Crown Prince, reflecting a commitment to sustainable development and human-centric design.
Also the city’s blueprint encompasses sustainability, pedestrian-friendliness, and over 44% of its total area dedicated to green spaces.
Innovative Features
The non-profit city embodies the concept of a ‘digital twin’. It integrates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence. It will house several academies, colleges, and the Misk schools, alongside a conference center, and an innovation hub.
Additionally, the city will feature an arts institute, performance art theaters, and a comprehensive residential complex. It aims to attract bold capital investors and socially responsible investors globally.
Key Development Area: Al-Mishraq
Al-Mishraq, spanning an impressive 680,000 square meters, will become a crucial part of the city.
Initially, the first phase of development focused on transforming 105,000 square meters into a vibrant mix of retail spaces, and business incubators.
