Al-Ibrahim Meets World Bank Independent Evaluation Group Head

The Minister of Economy and Planning, H.E. Mr. Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim, met with Ms. Sabine Bernabe, Vice President and Director-General of the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank Group. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the ministry delegation’s visit to Washington, where they discussed opportunities for cooperation and topics of mutual interest.

During the discussions, both sides highlighted the importance of data-driven evaluations in shaping effective economic policies and sustainable development initiatives. Mr. Al-Ibrahim emphasized Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to implementing best practices in economic planning to meet the objectives outlined in Vision 2030. The dialogue further explored ways to leverage the World Bank’s evaluation expertise to enhance project outcomes and support long-term development goals in the region.
