AIMC condemns Houthi’s school targeting in the Asir region
The Arab Interior Ministers Council has firmly condemned the repeated terrorist operations carried out by the Houthi militia, the latest targeting a school in the Asir region with a drone.
The secretariat stated that it supports the significant roles of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen in confronting all terrorist attempts carried out by these militias. The attacks represent war crimes and a disregard for all international laws and norms.
The Houthi militia is continuing its refusal to call for peace and the efforts made by the legitimate government and the international community, especially the Saudi Peace Initiative.
The Council also denounced the terrorist attack on Abha International Airport with a projectile issued by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, which resulted in 26 travellers of different nationalities injured.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat at its headquarters in Tunis, the Council condemned this shameful criminal act that reveals aggressive and malicious intentions.
Finally, the authority affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting terrorism.
