A Look into the Number of Saudi pilgrims for 2021 season

The Royal Commission for Makkah and the Holy Sites and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed the statistical information for the 2021 Hajj season this year, for the 58,518 registered pilgrims.

The Royal Commission for Makkah and the Holy Sites and the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah indicated in a joint statement that women pilgrims 25,702 and men 32,816 pilgrims, while the statement indicated that the number of pilgrims from Saudi citizens reached more than 33,000 pilgrims, including more than 16 thousand women and 16,753 men, while the number of resident pilgrims reached more than 25,000 pilgrims.

The statement revealed that the pilgrims were distributed in the holy sites according to four zones, represented in the red zone in which the number of registered pilgrims reached more than 16,900 pilgrims, the green zone in which the number of pilgrims reached more than 20,000 pilgrims, and the blue zone in which the number of pilgrims reached 12,476 Hajj, while the number of pilgrims from the Yellow Zone reached more than 9000. While the total of the camps in which the pilgrims were accommodated is about 213, including 71 camps in Mina and Arafat, and 71 arenas in Muzdalifah, in addition to 848 rooms in Mina towers
