His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Charitable Society for Orphan Care in the region, “Insan”, in his office at Al Hakam Palace, presided over the fourth meeting of the association’s board of directors in its fifth session.
His Highness urged the members of the “Insan” Association to exert effort so that the association can continue its march in caring for orphans, praising the distinguished performance the association has achieved during the Corona pandemic regarding specific programs and initiatives presented to them.
The council reviewed a number of issues on the agenda and took the necessary decisions regarding them, among them the approval of the legal auditor’s report for the final account of the society’s financial performance for the year 2019.
It shows the growth and development of the association’s expenditures on orphans, while the number of beneficiaries of the association’s services reached 40,000 orphans and orphans with a widow.
It provided material and moral care to them through 20 branches, including five branches in the city of Riyadh, and 15 branches in the governorates. Work is underway to open the 21st branch in the province of Diriyah during this year with the amount of 361 million riyals.
The meeting included the presentation of the report of the “Insan” initiatives to confront the Corona pandemic. It is implemented during the pandemic to all its beneficiaries in Riyadh and its governorates.
Four main initiatives were included, and from each initiative there was a number of various programs that met the needs of all beneficiaries, and the total amount spent by “Insan ” during the pandemic was more than 52 million riyals.
At the end of the meeting, His Highness extended his thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the association’s support, and urged them to maintain their support.
