Saudis Welcome Syrian Pilgrims with Gesture of Gratitude Inspired by Crown Prince
A large number of Saudi citizens were keen to welcome Syrian pilgrims with the well-known gesture of gratitude made by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

In the circulated video, Saudis are seen placing their hands over their chests upon the arrival of the first group of pilgrims from Syria at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
This symbolic gesture was inspired by the action of the Crown Prince when former U.S. President Donald Trump announced the lifting of sanctions on Syria. Since then, it has become a symbol of appreciation and gratitude in Arab and Saudi consciousness.
