Saudi Defense Minister Engages with Senior US Officials in Washington
Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Tuesday at the State Department to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss shared priorities.
During their meeting, they reaffirmed the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and the United States, emphasizing their joint commitment to addressing global challenges and enhancing international peace and security. “We also addressed several issues of mutual interest,” Prince Khalid shared on social media platform X.
The discussions were attended by high-ranking officials from both nations.
Earlier, Prince Khalid held talks with US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
On Monday, he met with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to explore the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
