Today, Jeddah Islamic Port celebrated the arrival of the first ship on the Saudi shipping line of Falak Marine Services Company “Falak Marine” to Jeddah Islamic Port via the ship “Sunset”. It contributes to enhancing the Kingdom’s competitiveness on the logistics map, and consolidating its position as a global logistics center. It also plays a vital role in achieving the objectives of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Falak Marine, which specializes in container ships and feeder ships, is the first Saudi company to provide tributary ship services and short-distance sea freight; it provides reliable and highly efficient services that meet the requirements of customers in the Arabian Gulf region, the Red Sea and beyond.
The company’s choice of Jeddah Islamic Port reflects confirmation of the port’s global reputation for operational excellence, with the number of its berths reaching 62 multi-purpose berths. It is also equipped with the latest operational capabilities that enable it to receive various sizes of ships and types of goods, in addition to its competitive advantages. Furthermore, it makes it the first port among the Red Sea ports.
It is noteworthy that “Mawani” recently announced that “Falak Marine” added the new shipping service “NRS” to the Jeddah Islamic Port, to connect the Kingdom to the ports of the northern Red Sea and facilitate the needs of the growing market and trade in the region. This service is the sixth in the list of navigational services that the Authority has added since the beginning of the current year 2024.
