Riyadh’s Deputy Governor Honors King Faisal Prize Laureates

Acting on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and under his patronage, Riyadh’s Deputy Governor, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, honored the winners of the 2026 King Faisal Prize yesterday in Riyadh. The 48th edition of the distinguished awards celebrated outstanding global contributions in Service to Islam, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, Medicine, and Science.

Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, expressed appreciation for the King’s continued support, highlighting the Kingdom’s dedication to recognizing scholars who advance knowledge for the greater good. He noted that the prize reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to encouraging work that benefits both the region and the wider world.

The Secretary General of the King Faisal Prize, Dr. Abdulaziz Alsebail, presented the winners and outlined their notable achievements across various fields.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials, diplomats, and a distinguished group of international scholars and intellectuals.
