Sudair City for Industry and Businesses witnessed a significant milestone on Monday as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), Bandar Alkhorayef, officially inaugurated a series of advanced factories, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The new facilities are dedicated to food production, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and construction materials.

The inauguration is an integral part of the ministry’s broader drive to localize high-value industries and boost the Kingdom’s health and food security.
Alkhorayef on Monday inaugurated Sierra Life, the first facility of its kind in the Middle East designed to produce medical foods for metabolic disorders.
This new investment stands out as a turning point in Saudi Arabia’s industrial and healthcare integration, ensuring the localization of advanced therapeutic nutrition that was once heavily dependent on imports.

Alongside advanced factories, Alkhorayef also unveiled the Sudair Warehouses Project—a pivotal step in broadening Saudi Arabia’s logistics and industrial infrastructure.
Dedicated to empowering industrial investors, stimulating high-value ventures, as well as enabling robust national supply chains, the initiative reflects the sector’s commitment to fostering sustainable growth in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.
