Arab Parliament Speaker Denounces Israeli West Bank Decisions as “Blatant Aggression”

Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, strongly condemned Israel’s recent decisions concerning the occupied West Bank, describing them as a dangerous escalation.

Al-Yamahi said the measures represent a blatant act of aggression and a clear violation of international law and United Nations resolutions. He warned that these actions aim to alter the legal and historical status of the Palestinian territories through settlement expansion and the imposition of de facto sovereignty.

Arab Parliament to hold emergency session on Palestinian developments

In a statement issued today, Al-Yamahi stressed that the Israeli occupation holds no legitimate sovereignty over any part of Palestinian land. He also cautioned that the government’s approval of annexation-related measures amounts to a full-fledged war crime and called for immediate international accountability.

He reaffirmed that the Arab Parliament will continue its political and parliamentary efforts at both regional and international levels to defend the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and to oppose any attempts to legitimize the occupation or impose facts on the ground by force.
