Sotheby’s is currently inviting art lovers in Saudi Arabia to a free public exhibition in Diriyah previewing its “Origins II” sale, featuring masterpieces from some of the most influential figures in modern and contemporary art, according to Arab News.
Set to take place at Bujairi Terrace, the exhibition will remain open to visitors until 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 31, coinciding with the launch of the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale 2026.

Interestingly, the exhibition boasts more than 60 lots of modern and contemporary art, providing visitors with a rare chance to see works by pioneering Saudi and Middle Eastern talents as well as celebrated international figures.
The exhibition also spotlights Saudi artists Mohamed Siam and Dia Aziz Dia, both making their debuts in the auction.

Known as pioneering voices of Saudi Arabia’s second generation of modern artists, their works are showcased alongside leading figures such as Safeya Binzagr, Abdulhalim Radwi, and Mohammed Al-Saleem.
The display of works by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Anish Kapoor highlights the sale’s international scope.

The exhibition will culminate in Sotheby’s second auction in Saudi Arabia, with the “Origins II” sale set to kick off on Jan. 31 at Diriyah.
