7th Edition of Future Investment Initiative Kicks Off in Saudi Arabia

The seventh edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) is set to commence on October 24, 2023, in Riyadh, marking yet another significant stride in addressing global challenges.

Event Schedule:

Spanning from October 24 to 26, the initiative will delve into the global challenges faced across various sectors. A detailed agenda for the event has been outlined, with the opening ceremony expecting the attendance of notable personalities.

Global Participation:

The event will witness the participation of world leaders, major industrial companies, investors, policymakers, and innovators, making it a global platform for discussing pressing issues in climate, economy, and technology.

Future Investment Initiative’s Themed Discussions:

Under the theme “The New Compass”, the initiative will explore global challenges in the realms of climate, economy, and technology, fostering a platform for solution-driven discussions.

The seventh edition of the Future Investment Initiative is not just a milestone for Saudi Arabia, but a beacon for global stakeholders in confronting and solving the urgent challenges of today.

Notably, the Saudi Investment Minister Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih inaugurated the forum, showcasing the strengthening ties between Saudi Arabia and European Union countries.

The event, held in Riyadh, saw the participation of more than 1000 representatives from both the government and private sectors, alongside the executives of major companies from the Kingdom and EU countries.

Future Investment Initiative: Trade, Investments

Minister Al-Falih emphasized the strong partnership with EU countries, with over 1300 European companies investing in the Kingdom.

The direct foreign investment from the EU showed robust growth in 2022 compared to the previous year, across various sectors.

Trade volume between the Kingdom and the EU reached 80 billion euros during the same period, representing a 30% annual growth​.
