19 Saudi Exports to Participate in Construction Exhibition – Africa 2024

Saudi Exports, under the identity of “Saudi Industry,” will participate in Africa 2024 Construction Exhibition in Kenya from 5 – 7 June. Their pavilion will include over 19 leading national companies in the building and construction sector.

“Saudi Exports” is initiating strategic efforts to promote the Kingdom’s export brand in priority markets and enhance its GDP contribution. It’s focusing on the African continent to meet diverse market needs and future aspirations. Furthermore, the goal is to deliver national products and boost Saudi non-oil exports to Africa.

Thamer Al-Masharafi, the official spokesman for Saudi Exports, emphasized Africa’s importance as a key export destination for Saudi products. These products are highly regarded by African consumers for their quality and competitiveness. Additionally, he highlighted that participation in the Construction Africa  exhibition follows numerous promotional efforts to showcase Saudi industries’ quality and diversity. This will also enhance the global presence of the “Saudi Made” brand, including in the promising African market.

Since 2019 to 2023, Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports to Africa exceeded 132 billion riyals. Moreover, the top sectors included petrochemicals, polymers, building materials, and packaging. Key products exported were polypropylene, polyethylene, and fertilizers.

While South Africa was among the countries that imported Saudi products with a total value of 11.91 billion riyals, Kenya recorded a total value of 7 billion riyals, while Nigeria recorded a value of 5.82 billion riyals.
