16 Saudi companies enter the Forbes list of the largest public companies in the world

Forbes' list of the largest companies in the world witnessed the entry of 16 Saudi companies, led by the oil giant Aramco; Saudi Aramco ranked among the top three. The Government Communications Center revealed, through its official account on "Twitter", a list of Saudi companies that were chosen as the largest public companies. The selected names were as follows: Saudi Telecom Companies, Banque Saudi Fransi, Saudi Electricity Company, SABB Bank, Saudi National Bank, Sipchem, Maaden, and Arab Bank. The list also included Riyad Bank, Alinma Bank, ACWA Power, Al Rajhi Bank, Petro Rabigh, Bank Albilad, and Kingdom Group. Forbes Global 2000 list is an annual classification, launched in 2003, of the 2000 largest public companies in the world, based on 4 criteria: sales, profit, assets, and market value.
