ٍِSaudi Family Affairs Council launches “you have no right” campaign to combat bullying
Saudi Family Affairs Council launched an awareness campaign to combat bullying and protect children from the dangers of bullying and exposure to it.
The Childhood Committee of the Family Affairs Council launched an awareness campaign on the dangers of bullying, under the title “you have no right” over five days.
The campaign aims to educate children in their surroundings, as well as parents and all persons concerned with children’s issues and educators.
Participating in the campaign are the ministries of education, health, and information, in addition to the Human Rights Commission and the National Family Safety Program.
The campaign seeks to spread the culture of dealing with bullying, raise awareness of its dangers and harms, and enable ways to deal with its forms and types.
The objective is also to enhance national efforts and initiatives to promote child protection as well as the use of the finest individual and institutional approaches to deal with this issue.
The awareness campaign includes a direct dialogue session, in which members of the Advisory Committee for Childhood will participate, and the following topics will be discussed:
Bullying and its types
- Who is the bully?
How do we deal with a bully?
The effect of bullying on the child
- Causes of bullying
Experiences and practices in dealing with bullying and bullies.
