Umm Al-Qura University Launches New Initiative to Elevate Pilgrims’ Hajj Experience

The Institute of Research, Studies and Consulting Services at Umm Al-Qura University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, has launched two new training tracks to enrich pilgrims’ Hajj experience, according to Arab News.

As part of the Rafid Al-Haramain program, the Pilgrim Training Track seeks to provide pilgrims with essential knowledge and prepare them for the Hajj journey, enabling them to perform the rituals with confidence and clarity.

The track centers on three key pillars, as follows:

  • The Hajj experience
  • Ritual understanding
  • Familiarization with systems and services

Moreover, it offers 24 learning modules delivered in 15 languages.

Meanwhile, the Language Track features programs in more than 35 languages for those serving guests at the Two Holy Mosques, ensuring they can meet the cultural and communication needs of pilgrims feom all over the world.

By launching these two new tracks, Umm Al-Qura University underscores its ongoing effort, through its institute, to foster the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem and elevate the pilgrim experience.

Together, the tracks support pilgrims at every aspect of the journey — from preparation before arrival to guidance through departure.

Designed to boost the efficiency of Hajj and Umrah sector, the Rafid Al-Haramain program aims to offer 100,000 training opportunities for workers across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, as well as volunteers at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and community members involved in Hajj and Umrah services.
