Trump has claimed victory in Florida, a state that was once a battleground but has leaned significantly towards Republicans in recent elections.

On Election Day, most voters experienced a relatively smooth process, with minor issues like long lines, technical glitches, and ballot printing errors reported sporadically.
Harris has pledged to collaborate across party lines to address economic concerns and other issues without straying significantly from the path set by President Joe Biden.
In contrast, Trump has vowed to replace numerous federal employees with loyalists, implement broad tariffs on both allies and adversaries, and execute the most extensive deportation operation in US history.
Both Harris and Trump have been concentrating on seven swing states, five of which were won by Trump in 2016 before shifting to Biden in 2020.
