
The Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah convened a joint meeting at the Almadinah Almunawarah Chamber to brief investors and hospitality operators on preparations for the upcoming Hajj season. Discussions centered on digital services designed to expand accommodation capacity for Hajj 1447.

The Tourism Ministry delegation outlined the procedure for requesting additional bed capacity, emphasizing efforts to boost the sector’s readiness and operational efficiency. Representatives from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also reviewed updates to the housing contract authentication service on the Nusuk platform, stressing that visas will only be issued once a valid, Ministry of Tourism–licensed housing contract has been verified.
This partnership is intended to streamline services, raise hospitality standards for pilgrims, and address key concerns from operators and investors.
