Security Oasis Exhibition Warmly Welcomes Visitors at King Abdulaziz Camel Festival
Saudi Arabia’s Border Guards are currently welcoming visitors to the Ministry of Interior Exhibition (Security Oasis) at the ninth King Abdulaziz Camel Festival.
The Border Guards’ pavilion immerses visitors in its 115-year history since its establishment by the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman.
Through a special blend between the past and present, the pavilion offers several stimulations to the land patrols camels and sea patrols on sailboats at the port of Al-Uqair in Al-Ahsa.
Furthermore, it showcases the old means, documents and devices of this historical era and the development of modern boats and land vehicles with the national brand of (Al-Dahna).
Interestingly, the pavilion displays the electronic services of the Zawal portal designed particularly to facilitate the process of obtaining entry permits to ports. Crucially, the issuances of sailing and research permits and driving authorization can now be done electronically.
In order to enrich the visitors’ experience, the event provides them with an exclusive opportunity to learn more about the sector’s efforts in combating drug smuggling, search and rescue operations, and coordination and management of marine disasters.
The pavilion also highlights its pivotal role in guiding lost persons, monitoring land and sea borders, and maintaining security within seaports and harbors.
It also boasts the “Live the Experience” section, which includes laser shooting, sea and land vehicle driving, and the children’s corner.
Through various events, live media hypotheses, introductory simulations, and musical band performances, the pavilion entertains the visitors and offers them unforgettable experiences.
It is worth mentioning that the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival will run until the end of December 2024, in Al-Sayahid in the southern part of Al-Dahna Desert, north of Riyadh Region.
