SDAIA …. Another Astonishing Accomplishment

G-20 was the talk of March 2020. It is an international forum that has 19 governmental members and central bank governors besides the European Union (EU).
It discusses the financial stability of major countries in the world, and other highlighted issues which affect the international economy directly and indirectly. Aside, the G-20 (or Group of Twenty) has been formed since 1999, and its summit rotates annually in different country members.
Remarkably, the G-20 forum of the year 2020 was planned to take place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. However, the situation of the corona pandemic prevented the process of the forum from running normally. Everything went virtual, including the conference itself!
This situation has made the organizers of the G-20 forum double their work in a short notice, only one week by the leading of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, H.E. Eng. Abdullah Amer Al-Swaha, the ministry formed a committee of the most intelligent and outstanding Saudi youth in the field of IT.
It is considered an astonishing achievement that can be added to the list of brilliant results and solutions that Saudi Arabia offers in crisis times like this.
The committee is known as the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, which is known as SDAIA. Their work was focused on monitoring the G-20 summit virtually for all the 19 government members and central bank governors besides the European Union. The summit was live and accessible for the audience, whereas it was an interactive virtual event for the presidents of country members.
The hashtag was trendy in many social media platforms to reflect the appreciation of the people for the exceptional achievement that SDAIA has done. Besides, the president of SDAIA, Dr. Esam Al-Waqit, has tweeted: “We are proud by this national achievement that displayed the virtual summit of G-20. It was under the supervision of Saudi Arabia Leaders. It is such a historical and national achievement for an important international event”.
Also, the minister of communications and Information Technology has added in his twitter: “This is a brilliant success of the ministry. It has been accomplished through SDAIA for displaying the G-20 summit virtually. It reflects the wise guidance and instructions by the youth leader and visionary, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who splendid the world by his accomplishments and achievements.
