During the celebration, Lendman, the Council executive director and interim president, said: “For three decades, the Saudi-US Business Council has been a steadfast partner in facilitating new business projects between Saudi and US companies.”
“With the ongoing transformations under Saudi Vision 2030, we are honored to experience these dynamic developments and contribute to them through more than 60 business development missions, and over 500 seminars and networking events,” she added.
Lendman emphasized that the ultimate goal is to enable partnerships, enhance growth, and shape the future together. This comes with US exports to the Kingdom reaching $13.87bn in 2023, amid promising expectations for trade relations between both countries.
In his speech, Council co-chairman Abdallah Jum’ah highlighted the great achievements accomplished by the Council over three decades of cooperation and benefit exchange in business and investment.
He pointed out the great progress and expansion in business sectors in the Kingdom, explaining that the traditional bilateral trade is no longer the prevailing mode as new prospects are opening up, including tourism, entertainment, and transportation services in parallel with Vision 2030.
Jum’ah also touched upon the impact of Saudi-US relations on both sides and on personal experiences of trade leaders.
The ceremony witnessed signing several memoranda of understanding (MoU) between Saudi and American companies in various investment fields.
