Saudi-Turkish Business Forum kicks off in Riyadh

The activities of the “Saudi-Turkish Business Forum”, organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers, kicked off Today in Riyadh.


Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi, the Saudi trade Minister and his Turkish counterpart Dr. Muhammad Moush attended the forum


More than 450 Saudi and Turkish companies and a number of government agencies in the two countries also participated in the forum.


In his speech during the forum, the Saudi Minister affirmed that KSA is experiencing an unprecedented renaissance era


He also indicated that the Kingdom possesses 6 ingredients and wealth that make it a land of opportunities.


Al-Qasabi added that the forum will contribute to finding new opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries.


He also noted the investment opportunities in the sectors of minerals, tourism, communications, and digitization in the Kingdom.


Dr.Moush said: “The Kingdom and Turkey are two emerging economic powers and they have great competitive advantages.


He also expressed their aspiration to raise the volume of trade exchange to $10 billion in the coming years.

The Turkish minister called on Saudi companies to enter the Turkish market and take advantage of investment in Turkey.


In turn, the President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, explained that the Saudi-Turkish relations that arose in the year 1929 are among the best international models.


The forum highlighted investment opportunities and the business environment in both countries.


It also witnessed the signing of 3 commercial cooperation agreements between representatives of the Saudi and Turkish business sectors in many fields.


The forum also witnessed the signing of a project to establish a joint Saudi-Turkish project in automation and engineering for the Middle East region.
