Saudi Trio Join Forces to Drive Sustainable Transport Revolution

The Saudi Bulk Transport Company (SBT-SENDDEX), the National Transport Solutions Company (NTSC), and Electromin have announced a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to reshape the sustainable transport landscape in Saudi Arabia. It represents a significant step toward achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which prioritizes cleaner and innovative transport solutions. The primary goal is to reduce the annual carbon emissions growth rate from 7% to 3% by 2030.

Roadmap for Carbon Reduction

As part of this strategic initiative, the companies signed a roadmap to reduce carbon emissions. This roadmap includes developing and implementing advanced transport solutions. It focuses on creating detailed plans to cut emissions across multiple transport modes in the coming years. Notably, the partnership achieved an important milestone by launching its first order for Light Duty Electric Trucks (LDTs). This initiative establishes a new standard for environmentally friendly transport.

Commitment to Vision 2030

Gary B. Flom, CEO of NTSC, emphasized their commitment to achieving Vision 2030 goals. He stated, “Our collaboration with SBT-SENDDEX and Electromin reflects our dedication to developing sustainable transport solutions alongside leading companies in Saudi Arabia. We aim to leverage innovative strategies to reduce carbon emissions and create a significant impact that aligns with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals.”

Unique Expertise in Transport Solutions

Sohrab Zuberi, CEO of SBT, highlighted the importance of collaboration in reaching these objectives. He said, “With our extensive expertise in transportation and logistics across the Kingdom, we are uniquely positioned to support Vision 2030. By integrating Electromin’s advanced technology with NTSC’s leading solutions, we can positively impact carbon emissions and improve air quality.”

Upcoming Electric Vehicle Exhibition

NTSC will actively participate in the upcoming Electric Vehicle Exhibition, featuring over 100 companies, 50 speakers, and 20 exhibits. During this event, NTSC will showcase its latest innovations and sustainable transport solutions, including the DarbConnect fleet management program. The company will also unveil its roadmap for carbon emission reduction. This exhibition will provide attendees the opportunity to engage in discussions about the future of sustainable transport.
