Al-Turath Foundation launched the book “King Salman” during the 94th National Day celebration. The event was held at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran.
Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, special advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, led the launch. He is also the founder and chairman of Al-Turath Foundation, a non-profit organization. Eng. Amin H. Nasser, President and CEO of Saudi Aramco, attended the event alongside many distinguished guests.
A Tribute to King Salman’s Leadership
Prince Sultan revealed that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud personally reviewed the book before its release. The launch coincided with National Day, paying tribute to King Salman’s lifetime dedication to the nation’s security and growth.
Prince Sultan emphasized King Salman’s close relationship with citizens, noting how people regularly visited him at Al-Hukm Palace in Riyadh. He said the King tirelessly works to ensure the country’s stability and development, overcoming any obstacles in the path of progress.
The King’s Commitment to Social and Humanitarian Causes
The book highlights King Salman’s social and humanitarian contributions, as well as his commitment to defending the nation whenever needed. Prince Sultan praised the King’s open-door policy, reflecting his genuine love for the people.
Saudi Arabia’s Transformation Under King Salman
Prince Sultan highlighted the Kingdom’s current development projects, pointing to the role of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in engaging with the nation’s youth. He noted that the Kingdom’s progress reflects the long-term vision of Saudi Arabia’s leaders, starting with King Abdulaziz.
The book was an initiative of Al-Turath Foundation, sponsored by Saudi Aramco. A dedicated team from both organizations worked for over a year to produce the book, documenting King Salman’s life through more than 500 photographs, selected from 10,000 images.
A Glimpse Into the King’s Life
The book details King Salman’s upbringing, leadership roles, and contributions to building a modern state. It also showcases his global influence, social and humanitarian achievements, and vision for the future.
The King Salman book is available in Arabic and English, with an interactive digital edition as well. Visitors can view the book at Ithra’s museum for two weeks, or at the Riyadh International Book Fair from September 26 to October 5. An interactive website will soon be launched at www.kingsalmanbook.sa.
