Saudi Space commission launches “train as an Astronaut” initiative

Saudi Space commission has announced the launch of the “train as an Astronaut” initiative, as part of its societal roles aimed at nurturing the interests of the younger generation in the space sectors.

The authority aims to provide an interactive experience that simulates the rehabilitation of astronauts and their healthy and sporty lifestyle, in partnership with the Sports Academy.

The activities of the “Train as an Astronaut” initiative extend over four days, targeting the emerging generation from the age of 7 to 16 years old.

 It will allow participants to experience the qualification of astronauts in the gymnasium.

This initiative comes within the objectives of the Saudi Space Authority, to prepare future astronauts and engineers.

 It attracts distinguished people to join various space applications through quality training programs.

This initiative also seeks to motivate students to specialize in applied and engineering fields related to space science and technology.
