Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot for the 2023-24 season, reported France 24. By netting 35 goals in the Saudi Pro League, Ronaldo makes history with a new record for the most goals scored in a single season in the league.
Al-Nassr superstar has become the first player to win the Golden Boot in four different countries, England, Spain, and Italy, and now in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Nassr commended their superstar, saying: “History has been made… again. Cristiano Ronaldo secures the Golden Boot award, becoming the first to achieve this in four different leagues.”
Al-Nassr added: “It is not surprising; Ronaldo is used to winning prizes and breaking the numbers.”
Al-Nassr still has a significant match ahead with Al-Hilal in the final of the King’s Cup.
Yassin Bono
Al-Hilal’s Moroccan goalkeeper Yassin Bono was named the best goalkeeper in the Saudi Pro League for the 2023-2024 season. Bono joined the Riyadh-based team in August 2023 on a three-year contract. The Moroccan footballer concluded the season by winning the Saudi Pro League title with his club.
Furthermore, he has obtained the goalkeeper of the month three times: October 2023, November 2023, and February 2024, according to Al Hilal Saudi Club.
