Saudi Minister of Transport launches the national aviation strategy to reach 250 direct destinations
Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser inaugurated; The Saudi Minister of Transport in the Kingdom announced today, Monday, the National Aviation Strategy, which aims to reach 250 destinations directly to and from the Kingdom’s airports.
Also, on the sidelines of the Future Aviation Conference, which kicked off this morning, a new air carrier was launched to triple air traffic.
In his statements, the Minister of Transport said that Saudi Arabia is seeking to attract investments of more than $100 billion in the public and private sectors until the end of the current decade.
The Future of Aviation Conference will be held over three days at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, with the participation of 2,000 exhibitors from 60 countries, and is a qualitative and unique international event in the civil aviation sector.
The conference constitutes an opportunity for exchanging knowledge and ideas, as well as identifying the best experiences and practices, to keep pace with the rapid developments in the aviation market.
The conference is scheduled to witness the signing of more than 50 agreements in addition to a memorandum of understanding, in addition to the launch of some policies and strategies for the civil aviation sector, in addition to the signing of a large number of partnerships between both government and private sectors.
