Saudi MCIT, HEC Paris Launch ‘Women Leaders in Digital Economy’ Program

The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has announced on Thursday collaboration with HEC Paris Business School to launch “Women Leaders in Digital Economy” program, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Registration is now open for the program, which will take place in Paris from October 21-25, 2024.

Empowering Saudi Women

The program aims to empower women, develop their leadership skills, and enhance their leadership performance to excel in digital economy.

Moreover, the program is a strategic step towards empowering female leaders capable of building advanced skills and strategies that can keep pace with the shifts in the digital economy.

The program aims to achieve this through providing a comprehensive mix of leadership development, creative thinking, and practical expertise in emerging technologies. This will contribute to building effective female leaders who can guide the digital economy transformation journey in Saudi Arabia, and enhancing their role in building a thriving digital society.

Cultivating Skills

Through the program, female participants can promote their leadership skills, prepare for assuming new leadership positions, and build effective relationships in the work environment. Furthermore, the program will help in developing and implementing an innovative approach for teams, raising awareness of using emerging technologies, and encouraging innovation in organizations.

This, in turn, will improve the leadership presence and prepare a new generation of female leaders who are capable of expanding the prospects of Saudi digital economy growth as well as contributing to building a more inclusive and prepared society.

Program Requirements

The program targets 30 leaders from the private sector’s premier female leaders. The candidate must be from the distinguished national cadres with leadership aspirations. She must also have 7-10 years of experience in the technology sector.

Additionally, the candidate must fully commit to the completion of all the requirements and stages of the program, including the submission of a letter of approval from their employer after final acceptance.
