Mastercard and Saudia Partner to Uplift Female-Led Businesses

Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has partnered with Mastercard to launch the third season of Her Voice. The podcast aims to empower Saudi female entrepreneurs by spotlighting their stories. It also provides them with valuable resources and networking opportunities.

The podcast, featured on Saudia’s in-flight entertainment system, complements the airline’s extensive content library. It adds to the 5,000 hours of diverse content available in over 16 languages, catering to various guest preferences and age groups.

Workshops and Mentorship Opportunities

In collaboration with Blossom Accelerator, Saudi Arabia’s first tech-inclusion and female-focused accelerator, Saudia and Mastercard will host three workshops in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Khobar. These workshops are designed to offer budding female entrepreneurs, aspiring leaders, and small business owners invaluable learning and networking opportunities.

Additionally, a competition invites startups to present their business concepts on priceless.com/hervoiceS3. Winners will receive a one-year mentorship program from Blossom Accelerator, providing them with the guidance needed to succeed.

Highlighting Inspirational Stories

The third season of Her Voice, premiering on August 27, will feature the stories of seven inspiring Saudi women. Each episode will explore a different passion, such as culinary arts, entertainment, sports, technology, e-gaming, sustainability, and travel. These women will share their personal and professional journeys, highlighting how their passions helped them overcome challenges and succeed.

Maria Medvedeva, Country Manager for Saudi Arabia at Mastercard, emphasized the importance of sharing these narratives: “With women at the heart of the Kingdom’s transformation into a global hub of innovation and entrepreneurship, it is vital that we amplify their stories to inspire others worldwide.”

Mastercard has committed to bringing 25 million women entrepreneurs worldwide into the digital economy by 2025. This initiative aligns with Mastercard’s mission to connect women to digital tools, training, insights, and solutions that will empower their businesses.
