Saudi Investment Minister signs 6 MoUs in FII first day
Saudi Investment Minister, Khaled Al-Falih, witnessed on Tuesday the signing of 6 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) in several fields, on the sidelines of the Sixth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII).
The six memoranda were signed in several areas, including energy, quality of life, defense industries, transportation, biotechnology, and finance.
The memoranda of understanding aim to enhance and develop capabilities and skills, address the main challenges facing the sectors, and benefit from global experiences and best practices.
The memoranda also aim to launch new initiatives, provide job opportunities, and open regional headquarters in the Kingdom in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The signing of the memoranda of understanding comes as a continuation of the efforts and objectives of the Ministry of Investment in attracting investments and enabling sectors to grow.
It also facilitates access to investment opportunities, localization of knowledge and expertise, and development of systems and policies.
The Investment ministry seeks to enhance access to services through a partnership between the public and private sectors, which contributes to the social and economic transformation in the Kingdom.
