Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel has commenced an official visit to Cuba in order to strengthen heath cooperation, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez welcomed the Minister and his accompanying delegation in Havana on Thursday.
Al-Jalajel and Bermúdez discussed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Cuba and explored new avenues to boost health coordination.
Al-Jalajel expressed his sincere gratitude for the attention given to the health sector in Cuba and underscored the significance of supporting mutual interests to achieve sustainable development, prosperity, and well-being for both countries and their citizens.
The meeting highlighted the presence of Cuban Minister of Public Health Dr. José Ángel Portal Miranda and several other officials.
