Saudi Foreign Minister Discusses Gaza Crisis with Dutch, Cypriot Counterparts
The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, received phone calls from his Dutch and Cypriot counterparts, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Discussing Gaza Situation
On Thursday, Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp.
During the call, both ministers explored bilateral relations and joint cooperation. Furthermore, they discussed the regional developments, most notably the crisis in the Gaza Strip.

They also discussed the latest efforts to bring the war in Gaza to an end and de-escalate tensions in the region.
On Wednesday, the Saudi Foreign Minister received a phone call from his Cypriot counterpart, Dr. Constantinos Kombos.
During their call, the two ministers discussed the latest developments in the region, with a focus on the crisis in the Gaza Strip and its security and humanitarian repercussions.
Foreign Minister Efforts
Prince Faisal bin Farhan was on an official visit to the UK, where he met on Wednesday with the British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Lammy.
Both officials discussed the latest regional and international developments, particularly in the Gaza Strip. They also reviewed bilateral relations and ways to further enhance and strengthen them in various fields.
Supporting Gaza Ceasefire
Saudi Arabia on Saturday welcomed the joint statement issued by the leaders of the US, Egypt and Qatar on the Gaza ceasefire, according to a statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Kingdom expressed its unwavering support for the efforts aimed at reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and relieving the dire humanitarian situation in the Strip.
Moreover, Saudi Arabia stressed the urgent need to stop the bloodshed, end the suffering, and protect civilians. The Kingdom also emphasized the need to advance towards ending the occupation, achieving peace and security, and restoring the full and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
