The Saudi Culinary Arts Commission will offer an extraordinary cultural experience that highlights Saudi Arabia’s culinary arts and diversity at SIRHA Lyon 2025 exhibition, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Held in Lyon, France, from January 23-27, 2025, SIRHA Lyon is one of the world’s largest events specializing in food and hospitality services. This year’s edition is expecting the participation of more than 40 countries.
The event showcases the latest food products, organizes international cooking competitions, and highlights the sector’s future and significant trends.
At the “Taste of Saudi Culture” pavilion, the Culinary Arts Commission will introduce visitors to local Saudi products through five interactive zones. The tour starts at the reception area, where visitors are served the signature Saudi coffee, in a showcase of Saudi hospitality.
After that, visitors can explore the exhibitors’ zone, which displays a diverse range of local food products, such as Ma’amoul, dates and their derivatives, and spices.
Furthermore, the pavilion includes a live cooking zone, where Saudi chefs show their culinary skills in serving local dishes, including Jareesh and Kleija, introducing visitors to Saudi traditional cooking techniques.
Then, the tour concludes at spaces inspired by the design of traditional Saudi seating areas (majlis), representing the Kingdom’s different regions, such as AlUla, Jazan, Taif, and Buraidah. This enables visitors to exchange knowledge and expertise with exhibitors.
The Culinary Arts Commission’s participation in the SIRHA Lyon 2025 exhibition is part of its commitment to enhancing cooperation and partnerships that promote the Saudi food identity globally. It also supports national innovations in the food products sector to raise their quality and market them in international forums.
