Saudi Crown Prince receives the Prime Minister of of Poland

Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, received, at the royal court at Al Yamama Palace, on Tuesday, Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland.

 

The Crown Prince welcomed the Polish Prime Minister to the Kingdom, wishing him and his companions a pleasant stay.

 

Prime Minister of Poland expressed his happiness at visiting the Kingdom.

 

He appreciated the hospitality and good reception he and the accompanying delegation received.

 

During the reception, they reviewed the friendship relations between the two countries and ways to enhance prospects for bilateral cooperation in various fields.

 

The two sides also reviewed a number of issues of common concern.

 

Saudi-Polish Relations

 

Saudi-Polish relations were founded on the principles of understanding and sustainable friendship between the two friendly peoples.

 

The year 1930 witnessed the beginning of a new era for relations between the two countries.

 

Relations begin specifically with the start of the establishment of Saudi Arabia in 1929.

 

Poland officially recognized King Abdulaziz Al Saud as ruler of the Hijaz, Najd, and its annexes.

 

Poland was the eighth country in the world to recognize Saudi Arabia and establish official relations with it.

 

Historians suggest that the roots of communication between the Saudis and the Poles date back to the eighteenth century AD.

 

Scientists have found a manuscript, written by a Polish writer, in which he referred to his arrival in Mecca in the 18th century AD.
