Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed on Monday Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, in Jeddah, according to Arab News.
Both leaders reviewed the latest developments in Sudan and discussed their broader political and humanitarian repercussions.
They also delved into the ongoing regional and international efforts aimed at addressing the current crisis and restoring security and stability.

During the meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding Sudan’s security and stability, and to preserving its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport on Monday, Al-Burhan was welcomed by the Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal and the Mayor of Jeddah, Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki. Also in attendance were Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jaafar, and Sudan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dafallah Al-Hajj, along with a number of senior officials.
