The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) has unveiled the opening of the first office of Saudi-Canadian Business Council in Toronto, Canada, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The announcement was part of a roundtable meeting organized by the council with ministers, officials, and investors from both Canada and Saudi Arabia.
The office marks a significant milestone in the Saudi-Canadian relations with a bold vision to elevate the interests of the Saudi private sector in Canada and boost economic cooperation.
The office aims to raise awareness of investment opportunities, capture more deals and partnerships between the business communities, and address any challenges and difficulties that may hinder investment process.
Thus, it will represent a strong link between Saudi and Canadian companies and organizations, facilitating their economic events and exhibitions.
Moreover, it will organize business delegations and provide investors from both countries with necessary services and procedures.
FSC also stated that the office is also anticipated to maximize trade between Saudi Arabia and Canada, which reached nearly SAR12 billion in 2023.
