The 49th Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), arrived at El-Arish International Airport in Egypt today, Tuesday, in coordination with the Ministry of Defense, reported Ajel.SA.
The relief plane is loaded with food baskets, in preparation for transporting them to the afflicted Palestinian people inside the Gaza Strip.
Few days ago, the Kingdom distributed 6,500 food baskets in the town of Abasan Al Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, benefiting 35,000 individuals. Food aid was also distributed to the displaced in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, benefiting more than 10,000 individuals.
The Kingdom aims to meet the necessary needs and alleviate the suffering of the population in the Strip. This aid comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s historic role in standing with the Palestinian people in the various crises.
Moreover, the Center launched the “Messages of Hope” campaign, which aims to spread hope to the Palestinians in Gaza, through social media and the participation of community members. As part of this campaign, the Center organized a food baskets preparation event in its warehouses in Riyadh. A number of the center’s employees, volunteers, community members, media figures, and social media influencers participated in the event.
They prepared food baskets which included necessary food ingredients for the Palestinian families. They also included “messages of hope” written by the Kingdom’s children expressing their solidarity with the children of Gaza. As part of the campaign, children write letters full of hope to the people of the Gaza Strip.
