SAUDI ARABIAN AIRLINES (SAUDIA) FEATURES ‘BORN A KING’ FILM ONBOARD

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) is currently showcasing the film ‘Born A King’ onboard its award-winning Inflight Entertainment (IFE) platform.
“Born A King” is a historical drama set in 1919 and is about a teenage Faisal, later to become King of Saudi Arabia. Sent by his father to lead negotiations in London, it is a story about the fate of his nation and the experiences that unfold thereafter.
The film was partly shot in Riyadh and Diriyah, and features talented Saudi film stars: Abdullah Ali, Rakan Abdulwahid.
Rakan Abdulwahid plays the late King Abdul Aziz in the film, while Abdullah Ali plays the role of a young Prince Faisal.
Other actors in the screenplay include: Ed Skrein, Hermione Corfield, Laurence Fox and James Fleet. “Born A King” is directed by Andres Vicente Gomez.
The film premiered at the Barcelona Sant Jordi International Film Festival (BCN FILM FEST) on April 25 this year.
Recently, “Born A King” was honored with the ‘Best Film’ award at the Inward Eye Film Festival for independent cinema in Ambleside in northern England. The event was held at the Zeffirellis.
