Saudi Arabia Provides over 20 Billion Dollars in Aid Globally

Kingdom's Record of Developmental Contributions to Arab Countries

Saudi Arabia has provided over 20 billion dollars in 17 Arab countries in both Africa and Asia.

This included 281 concessional development loans to implement developmental and economic projects.

Since 1975,  Saudi Arabia, through the Saudi Fund for Development, has contributed to enhancing the pillars of sustainable development in its various scopes and forms.

This reflects the Kingdom’s interest in supporting and enhancing close relations with Arab countries.

Saudi Arabia’s Record of Developmental Contributions to Arab Countries

Since 1975, Saudi Arabia has significantly contributed to Arab countries through the Saudi Fund for Development, its international development arm. Furthermore, the Fund has provided 205 grants totaling over 18 billion dollars to support humanitarian, developmental, and economic sectors. This includes international partnerships.

Moreover, the Fund creates opportunities in Arab countries to boost economic and social growth. Consequently, its projects and programs in key sectors have enhanced living conditions and created jobs for millions.

Lastly, the Fund promotes local content by urging Saudi companies and consultants to undertake developmental projects globally, financed internationally.

Saudi Arabia’s Leading Role in Developmental Activities

In over 48 years, Saudi Arabia’s Fund for Development has completed over 700 projects and programs in 84 developing countries. These efforts aim to foster stability and prosperity globally, aligning with the Kingdom’s goals of enhancing prosperity and supporting the least developed countries.
