Saudi Arabia grants permits for Umrah & prayer to those aged 12
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to visit the Grand Mosque via the “Umrahna” and “Tawakkalna” apps, according to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
It was emphasized that it is possible to book and grant permits for pilgrims inside who are 12 years old and older, with the condition of two doses of vaccination.
It also urged updating the health status in the “Tawakkalna” application, whether for two-dose vaccination or an exception.
The Ministry pointed out that the issuance of permits is available after completing 12 years.
It stressed that it is not possible to enter the Great Mosque of Mecca for Umrah or prayer without an effective permit.
This denied the circulating news about the availability of Umrah without obtaining a permit and limited to showing only the case of vaccination with two doses.
The “Hajj and Umrah” claimed that the General Presidency for the Two Holy Mosques can be contacted about keeping children in the Grand Mosque’s exterior courtyards on phone number (1966).
