Saudi Arabia Gets Ready for Eid Al-Fitr Celebrations
The Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has issued Eid al-Fitr Events Booklet 2024, featuring fireworks shows, music concerts, theatrical performances and a wide range of other activities throughout the Kingdom.
Under the theme “Your Eid is Among Your Family and Loved Ones”, the GEA said that the “Eid al-Fitr 2024” reflect its efforts to foster communication and spread happiness and joy among Saudi people and visitors.
The celebrations will start on the first day of Eid, with fireworks shows at 9 pm. The events also include a series of theatrical performances featuring Arab actors.
On April 13, the Batterjee Medical College Theater in Jeddah will host “The Red Box” play. On April 14, the Alasala Colleges Theater in Dammam will host the play “Ors Aljen”, while the Mohammed Alali Theater in Riyadh will present the play “The Neighbor”.
The Eid events will include 8 music concerts in different Saudi cities. Boulevard City and Boulevard World will open their doors to visitors from 4 pm to 2 am and 1 am respectively.
The Via Riyadh area will welcome visitors from 8 am to 3 am, while Jeddah will host the “Eid Destination” event at Jeddah Promenade for ten days. The event includes diverse popular shows and a variety of food options to suit all tastes, as well as music concerts that create a wonderful atmosphere.
Students and teachers in Saudi Arabia have started their Eid al-Fitr vacation on Thursday, March 28 which will last until April 15, 2024, whereas employees will have a 4-day vacation in April for Eid, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
