Saudi Ambassador in Niger Meets with UN Representative

Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the Republic of Niger, Dr. Zaid Al-Harbi, had a meeting last week at his office with Rachelle Mian Djangone, the UN representative in Niger, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

During the meeting, various topics of shared interest were discussed, and Djangone provided an overview of UN Women’s activities in the country.

Djangone also expressed appreciation for the Kingdom’s appointment as the president of the 69th annual UN Commission on the Status of Women in 2025.

Al-Harbi emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the people of Niger, particularly women.

He highlighted initiatives such as the King Abdullah Educational Complex in Niamey, which benefits Nigerien citizens, and the provision of healthcare centers dedicated to women and children in different parts of Niger.
