SAR Increases Haramain High-Speed Railway’s Trips during Ramadan
The Saudi Railways “SAR” has increased the number of available trips of the Haramain High-Speed Railway during Ramadan 2024, exceeding 2,700 trips with a 9% increase compared to previous season. The number of seats on the Haramain High-Speed Railway surpassed 1.3 million, an increase estimated at 26%, reported News 24.
This comes as part of SAR’s preparations to welcome the pilgrims during Ramadan 2024. This confirms the completion of all its operational plans to transport the pilgrims to various destinations that train reaches to between Mecca and Medina.
SAR mentioned that its operational plan for this season will see an increase in capacity and accommodation in all possible scopes from staff to trips. In addition, it will organize the timetable to align with the prayer times in the Two Holy Mosques. It ensured that it will double the number of service providers at the stations.
SAR added that all the operational plans it has adopted for this Ramadan season have been completed. This affirms the company’s commitment to coordinating with partners of success in providing services and capabilities that would help pilgrims perform Umrah rituals easily and smoothly. This comes as part of the leadership’s keenness on integrating the services provided to the guests of the Merciful.
