Riyadh schools launch an awareness campaign to combat bullying

Saudi Arabia determines groups excluded from attending schools

Riyadh Schools, in collaboration with the Family Affairs Council, launched a bullying prevention program Wednesday morning (You have no right).

The campaign’s goal is to raise awareness of the hazards and consequences of bullying, as well as to equip children and young people to cope with it in all of its manifestations.

This was accomplished by hosting an awareness discussion with a panel of experts from the fields of education, social work, and mental health.

The campaign will run in King Salman bin Abdulaziz Hall in Riyadh schools through Tuesday, May 24, 2022, with a live broadcast on social media to reach the widest potential audience locally and regionally.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Fawzan and Professor Khaled Al-Fakhri, President of the National Society for Human Rights, delivered the first dialogue session of the conference on the impact of bullying on society.

The speakers emphasized the widespread influence of bullying on society as a whole, as well as the potentially dangerous psychological and social consequences that all members of society may face unless we confront them all with scientific approaches and transparency.

After the first day of the forum, His Excellency Eng. Badr bin Ali Al Kahil, Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), honored the speakers and the supporting success partners.
