Riyadh Region Council’s Women’s Committee, Monsha’at agree to boost entrepreneurial sector

The Women’s Development Committee and Monsha’at have agreed to boost Riyadh’s entrepreneurial sector.

The Riyadh Region Council’s Women’s Committee for Community Development has signed a cooperation agreement with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises “Monsha’at.”

This agreement aims to support entrepreneurs by offering awareness and motivational programs as well as training courses, as well as by contributing to the development of the entrepreneurship sector and small and medium businesses in the Riyadh region.

In the presence of Her Highness Princess Noura bint Muhammad Al Saud, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Development Committee in the Riyadh region, and a group of officials, the agreement was signed at the Chamber of Commerce offices in Riyadh.

During the signing of the agreement, the need for cross-sector collaboration was underlined to help the region’s youth grow their enterprises and provide more investment opportunities to support their diverse projects.

The deal offers a variety of services to entrepreneurs and small- and medium-business owners, including the creation of an incubator and a shared workspace in Riyadh.

It also assigns advisers and mentors to the entrepreneurial sector to give essential advisory services.

While the two sides will work together to issue licenses for business incubators and accelerators, as well as incentive programs, training courses, and awareness gatherings to help assist and promote businesses in the Riyadh region and its connected governorates.

In terms of its competencies, it’s worth noting that “Monsha’at” is eager to expand its collaboration with ministries, agencies, government agencies, the private sector, and foreign organizations.
