Saudi Arabia’s Mayor of Riyadh Region Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon during his official visit to Korea.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the MoU represents a significant milestone in boosting the Saudi-Korean cooperation and achieving their mutual visions and goals.

The current partnership aims to foster the bilateral cooperation in various fields including city management and operation, cultural exchange, smart cities, and sustainable urban planning.
Moreover, the MoU involves mutual initiatives and projects in infrastructure management, parks and gardens, assets and land management, digital government and data management, and municipal services.

Both parties also agreed to intensifying their efforts in waste management and recycling, exchange of experts and specialists, and hosting joint events and conferences.
In the same context, Prince Faisal has held a bilateral meeting with Se-hoon in order to discuss various ways to strengthen urban development projects between Riyadh and Seoul.
