Professional Accreditation Boosts Expatriate Workforce Efficiency, Expands to 160+ Countries

The Professional Accreditation Program supports the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s strategy to strengthen labor market efficiency and verify the skills of expatriate workers across diverse sectors in the Kingdom. The program now covers more than 160 countries and over 1,000 professions, achieving full coverage of all targeted regions.

Key milestones include the professional testing service, which assesses the competencies of professional and technical workers through theoretical and practical exams conducted at over 150 centers worldwide. This ensures workers are prepared for the Saudi labor market. In parallel, the professional verification service validates the authenticity of qualifications and experience across market specialties, with a fully automated process completed within 15 days.

By mid-2025, the program had accredited more than 460,000 workers across vital sectors, including digital industries, culture and entertainment, financial services and insurance, energy and utilities, and logistics and transportation.
