Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of the Eastern Province, inaugurated the Hamad bin Abdulatif Al-Jabr Oncology Center in Al-Ahsa.

During his tour, the Prince explored the center’s extensive services. The chemotherapy area has 24 beds, 4 isolation units, and a dedicated children’s section with 5 oncology clinics, 13 chemotherapy beds, and 2 isolation beds.
Additionally, the outpatient department offers 10 clinics for various services like solid tumor and blood malignancy treatment, breast and colon surgeries, palliative care, PET scans, and advanced radiation therapy.
Establishment, Impact
The center, established with a 70 million Saudi Riyal donation from Abdulatif Al-Jabr and his wife, significantly boosts specialized healthcare in the province.
Al-Ahsa Health Cluster’s Role
The Al-Ahsa Health Cluster uses the center to offer comprehensive care, including diagnostics, surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. This reduces patients’ need to travel for treatment.
