New Murabba Showcases Sustainable Urban Innovations at SCEWC24

New Murabba, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has on Thursday concluded its participation at the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC24) in Barcelona, Spain, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The 14th edition of SCEWC, which took place from November 5-7, 2024, brought together prominent leaders, companies and experts from around the world to discuss the current challenges facing smart cities.

During SCEWC24, the New Murabba showcased innovative plans to redefine urban development. The New Murabba lies at the forefront of Riyadh’s urban development, embodying Saudi Arabia’s vision for a modern, sustainable future.

Designed in the Salmani architecture, the New Murabba combines advanced technologies, sustainability, and culture to become Riyadh’s modern downtown, by hosting residential, commercial, and leisure spaces.

In the light of this, the CEO of New Murabba, Michael Dyke, participated in a panel discussion, highlighting approaches to reimagine future urban cities.

During the session, Dyke emphasized the focus on enhancing the quality of life for the future, pointing to the use of advanced technologies in New Murabba, such as Internet of Things (IoT) and smart transportation solutions.

Furthermore, several executives from New Murabba took part in other sessions at SCEWC24, exploring innovative solutions and the importance of smart urban infrastructure, along with the interconnectedness of transportation and public spaces, in boosting the quality of life. Moreover, the New Murabba team displayed the pioneering approach of shaping urban life.

The New Murabba pavilion at SCEWC24 gained the attention of visitors and investors. It showcased live presentations and virtual reality experiences across the New Murabba valleys, with the iconic Mukaab at its center.

Moreover, the pavilion displayed technologies used to stimulate the five senses at the Mukaab. Visitors were impressed with this prime destination that can be reached within a 15-minute walk.
